Hi guys! I hope everyone is well and having good vibes. Bustling streets sounds very common in the red dot, and it includes two of my favorite lanes in Singapore. Telok Ayer and Amoy Street, both are very irresistible and charming, housed plenty of quirky cafes, restaurants, and speakeasies.
I usually spend my time here for some caffeine fix, where three of my fave go-to coffee shops in town are nestled, while killing some hours, listening to podcasts and writing some things that I love. It's nice to enjoy a cup of Italiano or a piccolo latte outdoors whilst seeing the bustling street and people in the hood. Telok Ayer and Amoy Street shares the right spot for many people from all walks of life. Unique themed cafes, cool bars, charming restaurants, fitness centers, and a top-notch barbershop, they all got it. Add up some astonishing heritage buildings and temples; these two streets are droving locals and expats in awe.
Take a look at the astonishing spots of Telok Ayer and Amoy Street
As the sun sets, flashing neon lights from the bars are starting to take the scene. Located in the stretch of Amoy Street, is where you can find speakeasies that serve top-grade cocktails. Employees Only, The Spiffy Dapper and of course, Native are just a few drinking holes in Amoy Street perfect for having good vibes.
I really love this no-nonsense drinking den located on the second floor of a shophouse on Amoy Street. The Native, it is very quirky and unique in terms of making their signature cocktails, infuses local herbs, spices and produce to add such unique experience in their cocktails. Trying their "Concrete Jungle" made from nutmeg leaves distillate, wild torch ginger, local mead, and pepper leaves was indeed an exciting cocktail experience.
Telok Ayer and Amoy Street, two of the hippest places in Singapore, always have that perfect blend of charm and peculiarity.
It's no wonder why these streets are on the top-list of must-sees in the Lion City.
